MANUAL  TRANSCRIPTION  TURNTABLE

The DP-500M uses a quartz lock servo that controls platter rotation via intervals of optical pulses passing through a slit. This control system ensures accurate rotation with no deviation from the center. For the serious vinyl enthusiast, there's no better turntable than the DP-500M.

The high-torque motor (4.5 kg/cm) boosts start-up speed to just 0.3 seconds, providing both quick operation and stable rotation with speed deviation of 0.002 percent or less. The tonearm has been designed for optimum sound quality through the use of diecast parts to boost rigidity and carefully placed deadening material to minimize vibration. This universal-type tonearm accommodates a wide variety of cartridges (cartridge not included). RCA pin-type analog outputs let you choose your interconnect to match sound quality or cartridge impedance between the turntable and your integrated amplifier or outboard phono preamplifier.

The turntable's 13-inch diecast-aluminum platter uses silicon rubber, a deadening material, over its entire reverse side to minimize howling. Hologram vibration analysis improves the ability of the supplied platter sheet to hold an LP record.

The lacquer-finished base on the DP-500M is both strong and surprisingly compact, given its large platter. The cabinet is made of rigid MDF (medium density fiberboard), which minimizes howling. MDF offers performance close to natural wood while imparting a soft finish and elegant appearance.

The latest version in our fully automatic turntable lineup, the DP-300F provides solid performance at a moderate price.  Designed for connection ease and versatility, this turntable can be connected to receivers that have phono inputs or only standard line level inputs making hookups a snap.

The DP-300F has been designed with heavier base construction for reduced vibration and performance.  The all new tonearm has a removable headshell making cartridge replacement simple.  The standard mount headshell allows for any standard mount cartridge between 5 ~ 10 grams to be mounted and balanced.  The automatic startup feature allows the turntable to begin play with the touch of a button, and once play has been completed, the tonearm will be returned to the armrest gently so that the stylus and record are not damaged or scratched.  The turntable is made of rigid diecast aluminum to produce uniform rotation for smooth flutter free operation.  There is also a manual lifter mechanism that allows you to place the needle on the record wherever you want, so you can skip to a different song in the middle of a side.

The DP-300F includes a built-in phono equalizer to connect the player to an integrated amp or receiver that does not have its own phono input. This turntable is powered by a DC servo motor and belt drive system and has rotation speeds of 33 1/3 or 45 rpm.  It comes with a MM cartridge so that you can begin to enjoy your analog record collection as soon as you connect the DP-300F to your home hi-fi system.

Don't worry about adding a whole bunch of "Unknown Artist" titles to your MP3 collection. With Audio Waveform Recognition, the included software checks the first 15 seconds of each track. Then it searches the extensive Gracenote Internet music database and captures the track's meta-deta (artist, title, etc.). And, your songs will remain separate, too, instead of the record being saved as one long track. Auto Track Divide finds silent breaks between tracks and automatically inserts a new track tag for each track (you also have the option of doing this manually).

The ins and outs of the DP-200USB

The connections on this record player make it great for playing on almost any A/V receiver, since it has both standard and phono output capability. The front panel USB port allows direct connection to a PC, as well as connection to a USB drive or an external hard disk drive. In addition to the USB connection, the DP-200USB's conventional stereo outputs can be configured with or without RIAA equalization, for full compatibility with the widest range of audio components.
